Abstract: This book aims at providing the students with the practical ability "to do" things in Business English: preparing case studies in English, reading graphs, interpreting data, filling out forms, writing commercial letters, résumés and compiling financial statements. Glossaries of specialised terms have been included to complete various sections. This textbook is a tool which can be used profitably both in the workplace and the university. The topics chosen and the approach adopted lead to multidisciplinary learning. The references to marketing, business economics, accountancy and the internet provide the material for the practical acquisition and eventual mastery of Business English. For the teachers, the book comes with a Teacher's Guide file, a useful tool to get acquainted with business terminology.
